Teamwork
Designing for users to solve specific needs is a teamwork process. As a designer, I engage with real users to create purposeful and effective digital products that make their lives easier.
Working with other designers has made me grow as a designer. Great designers, in my opinion, evolve as much and as quickly as they do because they learn from others. Teamwork grants your ideas a fresh perspective, encourages you to achieve excellence, and gives you perspective in your decision-making.
Working together with product managers ensures that I, as a designer, am involved in the strategy and decision-making process from start to finish. Working closely together to identify the OKRs, user research, brainstorming, and prioritization provide the design and construction of successful MVPs a whole new meaning.
Involving engineers early in the design process provides essential insight into what can be accomplished in the time available. They're a fantastic source of feedback and ideas that are sometimes neglected.
Design is like telling a story. Without all of these actors, the story could not be told.
